Calgary, AB - The Kings applied a lot of service pressure in their road match and swept the Ambrose University Lions (25-22, 25-14 and 25-21).

The RDC Kings had the Lions on their heels on the receive. The Kings ripped 13 service aces and Jonathan (JJ) Graham led the way with four. Mark DeWit had three.

As a team, the Ambrose Lions totaled two aces.

Kings setter Thomas Wass recorded 23 assists, two aces, three digs and two kills. The third-year Bachelor of Arts student successfully found six-foot-five middle Cody Boulding the most. Boulding, a Bachelor of Science student, finished with ten kills, one ace and one dig. Jonathan (JJ) Graham racked up eight kills, four aces, three digs, two stuff blocks and one assist, earning Kings Player-of-the Game. Patrik Toze chipped in with six kills, two stuffs and one assist.

Nikita Marchenkov led the Lions offence with eight kills. Nicholas Maglio and Adam Morris had five kills each. 

On Saturday, the RDC Kings (2-1) will host the Ambrose University Lions (1-3) at 8:00 p.m. at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.
