10 ways to support RDP Athletics

Thanks to our donors and sponsors RDP student athletes are able to continue performing at the highest level. Post secondary education is expensive and being a student athlete increases that cost. Your support alieviates financial burdens so that student athletes are able to continue to succeed in sport and in the classroom. There are many ways to support RDP Athletics.

Adopt An Athlete

The Adopt an Athlete program provides our supporters the opportunity to reach out and directly support the many student-athletes that are competing as Kings & Queens. Pick a student-athlete and play a role in their success in the classroom and in competition!

Scholarships & Awards

Last year, Red Deer Polytechnic awarded nearly $850,000 in scholarships and awards to students. The support of our community is helping to provide access for more students, as we work to ensure everyone has the opportunity to pursue success. Athletics Leadership Fund

The Athletics Leadership Fund supports, develops and sustains the many leadership opportunities that exist in our renowned Athletics program. With the outstanding support of our community, the Fund has already had a remarkable impact on our program and has helped to reduce student-athlete fundraising activities so they can focus on their studies and their athletic goals.

Attending Games

Our student-athletes are extremely motivated, and you can help them by filling the stands throughout RDP’s Athletics season! The Kings & Queens offer some of the best sports entertainment in central Alberta, and they feed off a packed house! All community members are welcome for this family friendly entertainment. Participating in Fundraisers

RDP boasts a remarkable history of fundraising events. Including Wayne Gretzky, James Duthie, Ron MacLean, and many more, the College has welcomed a wide array of guests over the years as we raise funds for our student-athletes. Highlighted by the annual Golf Classic in the fall and raffles throughout the season, there is always ways to support your favourite teams.
