A sign of a good team is to rebound after a setback and the Red Deer College Kings Volleyball team did that handsomely this afternoon in Saskatchewan. The Kings had a strong performance against the Briercrest College Clippers, sweeping them in three straight sets.

The RDC Kings opened the first set with a 25-19 win. In the second set the Kings defeated the Clippers 25-17 and capped off the match with a 25-20 win in the third set.

Kings Head Coach Aaron Schulha was happy with the bounce back this afternoon.

"There was all kinds of improvement today," said Schulha. "We were significantly better at our passing and serving game."

Schulha noticed the upbeat and consistent play on the court today.

"There was great energy and communication," said Schulha. "We did a much better job of looking after the ball and made far less errors."

Luke Brisbane was chosen as the Kings player-of-the-game. The Bachelor of Commerce student accumulated 2 kills, 33 assists, 1 service ace and 5 digs. In three sets the Kings totalled 32 kills, 34 assists, 3 service aces and 34 digs.

With the road victory the Red Deer College Kings move into top spot in the ACAC Men's Volleyball South Division standings with a 6-2 record. The Clippers are in second place with a 5-3 record. At 8:00 p.m. the Kings host the Olds College Broncos at the RDC Main Gym Friday, Nov. 11.
