Kings can't solve undefeated Kodiaks in Lethbridge

Lethbridge, AB - The Lethbridge College Kodiaks remain undefeated. A stifling defence in the second half helped the Kodiaks eclipse the Red Deer College Kings by 22 points. 

The RDC Kings led 48-47 at the break. The Kodiaks limited the Kings' offence to only 23 points in the latter half and picked up a 93-71 home decision. 

Klassen (21)

Red Deer's Spencer Klassen drove the Kings with 16 points. He added five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 28 minutes. Ramiro Martinez Quintanilla Jimenez dropped 13 points.

Jimenez (9)

Tyronn King and Jackson Kasko were named the top players on their respective teams. RDC's King contributed 12 points, eight assists, six steals and hit five-of-16 from the field. Lethbridge College's Kasko had two points, two steals, one assist and one rebound.

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks held a ten rebound edge (41-31).

The RDC Kings, St. Mary's University Lightning (6-8), Ambrose University Lions (6-6) and Briercrest College Clippers (6-6) share third spot in the south.

The Kings (6-6) and Kodiaks (14-0) will hit the Lethbridge College court on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 3:00 pm in a rematch.
