Day one of ACAC Golf Championships is complete

Day one of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Golf Championships wrapped up Saturday, and the competition was strong among ACAC golfers and teams at Alberta Springs Golf Resort. The second day of the championships, when medals will be determined, will take place on Sunday. Red Deer College (RDC) is the host of the two-day event.

Sies and Broderson lead Queens & Kings Golf teams to third overall

At the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) North Regional, several Red Deer College (RDC) golfers elevated their games on the final day and helped the Queens & Kings finish third overall.

After the first day at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Men's and Women's Golf North Regionals, the RDC Kings Golf team sits in third spot and the Queens are in fourth.

RDC Golf 2018 - 19 season preview

With the final roster decisions on the RDC Queens & Kings Golf teams coming this weekend, Head Coach Scott Bergdahl likes the group that is starting to form. “The Queens look outstanding this year and the Kings will be a solid group of five,” says Bergdahl. “The student-athletes are excited and anxious to get the season started.” As the RDC Queens & Kings prepare for the North Regionals, September 15 – 16, at Lac La Biche Golf & Country Club, Bergdahl wants to work with the student-athletes on preparing beyond the physical aspect of the game.
