Myah Cota was a key contributor to the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Cross Country Running team’s first place finish at Running Room Grand Prix #5 in Camrose. The fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing student (26:32) ranked eighth among Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) female runners over 6 km, contributing to the Queens’ league-best 32 points. The RDP Queens impressively eclipsed the second place Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks (69 points) by 37 points.

Red Deer’s Cota will be an important member of the Queens at the ACAC Cross Country Running Championships on October 26 in Calgary.
