Crespo and Red Deer Polytechnic Kings drop Medicine Hat College Rattlers

Medicine Hat, AB - The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings utilized a balanced attack against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers.
Four members of the Kings hit double digits and the long ball was working as they downed the Rattlers 83-75.
The RDP Kings held a 35-29 edge at the half, which included 29 first quarter points. Kings six-foot-three forward Eduardo Crespo had nine points by the break. Kieron Burgess scored 10 for the Rattlers.
The Kings outscored the Rattlers 48-46 in the latter half to earn the road win. The Medicine Hat College Rattlers had a strong fourth quarter, totaling 32 points but they couldn't draw even.
Kings Player of the Game Eduardo Crespo contributed 20 points, seven of the Polytechnic's 31 rebounds, six assists and three steals over 31 minutes. The first-year Academic Upgrading student from Brazil also hit two of his team's nine three-pointers. The Rattlers responded with five from long range.
Antonio Benjamin came off the RDP bench and scored 12 points. Cole Wicker had 14 points and Payton Baltzer totaled 13.

As a group, the Kings shot 45.6 per cent from the field, 40.9 per cent from beyond the three-point arc, and 68.8 per cent from the free-throw line. The Rattlers countered with 40 per cent efficiency, 20 per cent, and 56 per cent respectively.
Kieron Burgess led the way for the Rattlers with 19 points and 17 of his squad's 44 rebounds. Medicine Hat College Player of the Game Peter Adonri came off the bench, adding 11 points and three rebounds.
On Sunday, November 28, the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings (3-2) will tip-off against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers (0-3) at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre at 2 pm.
