In Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Soccer South Division action, the SAIT Trojans hosted the Red Deer College (RDC) Queens Sunday afternoon.

Queens control road game en route to 3-0 victory

On a cool and misty afternoon on the road, the Red Deer College Queens Soccer team scored in each half and applied more pressure as the game progressed for their second win in as many games to kick off the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Soccer season. The offence was once again clicking with one goal in the opening half and a pair in the latter half for a 3-0 shutout victory.

Fujimoto connects twice as Queens down Lions in home opener

The RDC Queens Soccer team felt that they added more speed and offence this season, and in their opening home game of the 2018 – 19 season that added offensive punch was on display early. The Red Deer College Queens beat the Ambrose University Lions goalkeeper Karina Kurtzweg twice in each half and rolled to an impressive 4-1 victory in ACAC Women's Soccer action.

After a 4-1 record in exhibition play, the Red Deer College Queens Soccer team are excited and ready for the 2018 - 19 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Soccer season to begin on Saturday, September 8 against the Ambrose University Lions.
