RDC Athlete of the Week for Oct. 1, 2018
Over two-days, Chase Broderson played consistent golf at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Golf Championships. At Alberta Springs Golf Resort, the Business Administration student earned three medals over the weekend and was very composed in his first ACAC Golf Championships. The RDC golfer was a member of the Red Deer College Mixed Golf team that won gold. Individually, Chase won a silver medal after shooting a two-round total of 151 (73 + 78) and remarkably did not record a double bogey in challenging weather. With his strong play, the talented student-athlete from Lacombe helped his Kings win team bronze (631), qualifying them for the 2018 PING Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Golf National Championships, October 16 – 19, at Desert Blume Golf Club in Medicine Hat.
