Olds, AB - The Olds College Broncos jumped out to 4-0 lead over the RDC Kings and despite a couple of goals from Pedro Humberto Mourao Neto, the Kings couldn't fully overcome the deficit. The Broncos solidified a 5-2 home win.

The Olds College Broncos capitalized early. Fifty-nine seconds into the game Olds College's Wilson Ouattara gave a cross to Oliyad Abera who was able to cash in. Then, Fabian Gromenida, Luiz Guimaraes and Nigel Stebanuk gave the Broncos a 4-0 edge.

RDC had some great chances throughout the remainder of the half, but the Olds College goalkeeper Ryan Murphy made some good saves.

Third-year defender Kyle Bett played the full 90 minutes

The Kings responded six minutes later. Second-year RDC midfielder Pedro Humberto Mourao Neto beat Broncos goalkeeper Ryan Murphy to make it a 4-1 contest. Sylvan Lake's Dagan Slimmon had the assist.

The teams traded goals in the second half. In the 73rd minute, Garren Oosterhuis found himself in alone on Hamilton and he made no mistake, pushing Olds College ahead 5-1.

Then Kings Pedro Humberto Mourao Neto scored on a penalty kick, pulling the Kings within three, but time expired and the Broncos wrapped up a 5-2 decision.

The home team tested Hamilton 12 times. The Kings had 11 shots on Murphy.

RDC Business Administration student Gabriel Martins Fonseca was selected as the Kings top player. Captain Brendan Klassen was chosen for the Broncos.

On Wednesday, October 16, the RDC Kings (6-2-1) will challenge the SAIT Trojans (7-1-1) in Calgary. Two home games remain against the Lethbridge College Kodiaks (6-1-1) and Medicine Hat College Rattlers (4-4-1).
