RDC Athlete of the Week for Sept. 23, 2019

Gabriel was a force on the soccer pitch against the Ambrose University Lions this past Saturday. The talented midfielder helped lead the Red Deer College Kings to a 5-0 shutout victory in the only game they played on the weekend. Gabriel, an Academic Upgrading student, contributed back-to-back goals, striking in the 49th and 54th minute. He worked very efficiently converting on two of his three shots over the full 90 minutes played. The second-year student-athlete from Brazil was also recognized as the Kings Player-of-the-Game for his outstanding effort.
