Head Coach, Scott Bergdahl, is the Head Golf Professional at Lakewood Golf Resort and has been a member of the Canadian PGA for over 25 years.

Returning Queens - Shaye Leidenius (Kinesiology & Sport Studies/Ponoka)
New Queens - Paige Tichkowsky (Bachelor of Education – Elementary/St. Paul), Bradie Ouellette-Pillman (Open Studies/Innisfail)
"The Queens team will be very competitive. Shaye is very driven and had a strong year," says Bergdahl. "She played some very good golf, is set to lead the women's team and should push to be one of the top female ACAC golfers this season. Paige and Bradie are nice additions to the team."
Returning Kings - Cody Clipperton (Management Certificate/Airdrie), Logan Crawford (Business Administration – General Management/Marwayne), Logan Hill (Business Administration – General Management/Red Deer) returns to RDC after a year off, Cole Morrison (Open Studies/Red Deer), Ryan Skoreyko (Bachelor of Commerce/Lacombe)
New Kings - Clayton Dunn (Business Administration – General/Drayton Valley), Justin Loro (Open Studies/Calgary)
"If our top five male golfers bring their best, they are as good as any top five in the province. This group has a lot of potential. Our returning men are strong. Logan Hill took a year off and has returned with an improved game," says Bergdahl. "Newcomer, Clayton Dunn, has a lot of skill and is still developing. Justin Loro also joins the Kings, and has shot a low round of 69 in competition."
Not Returning - Hayley Phillips, Alex White, Mitchell McKinnon, Braden Bystrom, Colton Craner
With a very competitive group of student-athletes this season, the RDC Golf team will once again challenge for ACAC medals and a trip to nationals where they can use the experience last year to their benefit. "The trip to nationals last year was invaluable. All of the returning golfers are a year older and can use that experience," says Bergdahl. "The student-athletes know how to deal with all of the hype and excitement on that big stage. We want the golfers to feel excited, believe in themselves and feel that they've earned the right to be there."
The ACAC Golf North Regionals will begin on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Camrose Golf & Country Club. Day two of the competition will continue on Sunday. The ACAC Golf Championships will take place at Redtail Landing, Sept. 30 – Oct. 1, 2017.
