Edmonton, AB - Julia Murrell's goal in the 17th minute of the third period proved to be winner as the RDC Queens defeated the NAIT Ooks 4-3 in ACAC women's hockey semi-final action Sunday evening at the NAIT Arena.
The Ooks goals were scored by Davina McLeod, Verca Kuzelova and Kendra Hanson, while Neisha Germann, Catherin Longchamps, Jade Petrie and Julia Murrell replied in a winning cause for the Queens.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Queens by 29-26 shots on net.
With this win, the RDC Queens move onto the ACAC Final and will face the MacEwan Griffins in a best of 5 game playoff series.
