Athlete of the Week for March 12, 2018
Adam played an important role in helping the RDC Kings Indoor Track team win a bronze medal at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Indoor Track Championships this past weekend. The Bachelor of Science student ranked in the top ten in many races and contributed the most points for the Kings. The second-year student-athlete placed fifth in the 3,000 metre finals (9:42.08), seventh over 1,500 m (4:30.81) and sixth (2:50.10) in the 1,000 m. The runner from Lacombe was a member of the Kings 4 x 400 m relay team which finished fourth and just missed a bronze medal by less than half a second.

Athlete of the Week for Sept. 11, 2017
Adam Wass put forth a tremendous effort and claimed 6th spot among ACAC male runners at Grand Prix #1 in Edmonton. The Bachelor of Science student finished the 8 kilometre course in 32:13 despite not feeling 100%. Wass, from Lacombe, helped lead the Kings to a 2nd place finish. The RDC men’s team earned a total of 37 points.

At the ACAC Cross-Country Running Championships in Red Deer, the RDC Queens earned team gold while the SAIT Trojans men's team picked up top spot.
