Athlete of the Week for Oct. 30, 2017

Devon Gurney put forth a very determined effort at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Cross-Country Running Championships. Devon (30:27.01) was the top Kings runner this past Saturday, and helped lead the RDC Kings to a bronze medal victory. The Kinesiology & Sport Studies student finished 13th overall and was one of the leaders on the team. Every RDC placement was important as the competition for the bronze medal was very close. The cross-country runner from Prince George, along with the Kings, will compete at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Cross-Country Running National Championships in Blainville, Quebec on November 11, 2017.

Congratulations Devon!
