Olds, AB – Make it 18 consecutive victories. The RDC Queens increased their service and hitting efficiency from Friday and swept the Olds College Broncos (25-19, 25-20 and 25-14).

The Queens totaled seven service aces and only five errors. Sydney Rix and Emma Holmes led the charge with two aces each. On Friday, RDC had 12 aces and 20 errors.

The Broncos recorded three aces and 15 errors from the line. 

Once again, RDC outside hitter Tess Pearman had a strong match. She contributed 12 kills and one ace, earning the top player award for the Queens.

Red Deer's Emma Holmes had seven kills. Middle Alexandria Greenshields added six and Sydney Rix had four. 

RDC setter Emma Letkeman totaled 28 assists. 

Broncos Player-of-the Game Avery Gammel accumulated 28 assists, six digs, two stuffs, two aces and a pair of kills. 

As a group, the Queens finished with a 0.413 hitting percentage, up from 0.330 on Friday.

Next weekend, the second place RDC Queens (18-2) will host the first place Briercrest College Clippers (20-0) in a pair of matches. They will hit the court on Friday, Feb. 14 at 6:00 pm at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre. Then the two squads will play on Saturday at 1:00 pm.

One streak in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Volleyball will be put to a halt. The Clippers haven't lost this season. After dropping their opening two matches to Briercrest College, the Queens haven't been beaten since.
