Caronport, SK - After the Briercrest College Clippers had a two set lead, the Queens pushed back in an attempt to even the match but the Clippers picked up a four set win (25 - 21, 25 - 17, 19 - 25, 25 - 23).

Queens Volleyball Head Coach Chris Wandler appreciated the progression of play and the ability of the defence to give them a chance to win. "As the match went on, we started to play our style," he says. "We made it difficult on ourselves early with the pass and serve game, making too many unforced errors. But, our blocking and defence kept us in it."

Katrina Dawe was selected as the Queens Player-of-the-Game. The five-foot-nine outside hitter totaled 10 kills, 2 service aces and 5 digs.

"Katrina didn't start but came into the game early," says Wandler. "She played a more consistent game than she did last Friday, and as a third-year, we will need her to be consistent."

Kaylee Domoney contributed 14 digs and 2 assists. Natalie Bloemen had 24 assists and 7 digs.
