Queens Volleyball Head Coach Chris Wandler thought that the effort was solid and will use the match as a learning opportunity. "Today was the same type of atmosphere here in Caronport. It was playoff like. We had the same good effort from our group however it ended with the same type of result," said Wandler. "After the first set, it seemed like we figured out how to finish off a set when we had a team on the ropes. However, in the fourth set that came back to bite us and we gave away a lead that we worked hard for. After the game, we had a chat and that will be our main focus moving forward to next weekend against Lethbridge College."

The Red Deer College Queens (13-5) remain in second place in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Volleyball South Division with 26 points. The Queens will host the third place Lethbridge College Kodiaks (9-6) on Friday, January 26 at 6:00 p.m. and again on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
