Bio

Kelly Coulter is returning as Head Coach of the Queens Hockey program. In the 2015-16 season, during Coulter’s first year as head coach of the Queens, he led his team to win the ACAC Championship.

Coulter is originally from Stony Plain, Alberta, but lived in Grande Prairie for 18 years. During his time in Grande Prairie, Coulter coached the Grande Peace Athletic Club Midget AAA hockey team and the Grande Prairie Storm Junior A hockey team (2006-2013). During his time with the Junior A Storm, Coulter was also the Educational Liaison Coordinator. He spent five seasons as the Director of Hockey Operations for the Grande Peace Athletic Club, which oversees Bantam AAA, U16 Midget AA and Midget AAA in the area.

Coulter has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Alberta and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia.
