RDC Athlete of the Week for Feb. 18, 2019

Neisha had a tremendous weekend on the ice, helping the RDC Queens (10-9-5-0) earn three of a possible four points in the standings. On Friday, the second-year forward scored a hat trick, including the game-winning-goal, which propelled the Queens to a 4-3 road victory. Neisha was named the Queens Player-of-the-Game for her outstanding effort and performance.

Then in Saturday’s double overtime setback, the Bachelor of Kinesiology student assisted on RDC’s lone goal and was a big factor in the Queens earning another point. Incredibly, the talented student-athlete from Lloydminster, Saskatchewan was involved in 80 per cent of the Red Deer College Queens’ goals this past weekend. Neisha has played a significant role in the Queens’ strong second half. In the past ten games, the RDC Queens have earned points in nine games.
