Calgary, AB – The Basketball Queens led after three quarters but a strong final quarter from SAIT pushed the Trojans ahead 58-50.
After the Trojans held a slight three point margin after the first quarter (17-14), the RDC Queens stormed back and outscored the SAIT Trojans 16-8 in the second to lead 30-25.
Only one basket separated the two squads in the third (17-15) with SAIT having the slight edge. The Trojans added 16 more points in the fourth and buckled down on defence, reducing the Queens' offence to five points, picking up a 58-50 home win.
