"It was a good game- definitely exciting," says Clayton Pottinger, Kings Head Coach. "We made it a little more dramatic than probably necessary with our missed free-throws down the stretch but we were able to hang on."

Spencer Klassen was named the Kings Player-of-the-Game. The Bachelor of Education student contributed 26 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal, while going 10-for-13 from the free-throw line.

"Spencer has been consistently good. Probably the main thing that I really like is that Spencer has really improved his defence over the last year or two which makes it more comfortable to leave him on the floor for longer stretches," says Pottinger. "We've always known he can score so he's getting those numbers because he's been on the floor for longer periods of time."

As a team, the Kings shot 47.6 per cent from behind the three-point arc and totaled 45 rebounds. Kevin Szymanek and Eric Bakker had 7 boards each.

DeAngelo Ashley earned the Rattlers Player-of-the Game award, picking up 14 points and 14 rebounds.

The RDC Kings and Medicine Hat College Rattlers are tied for third spot in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Men's Basketball South Division standings with eight points.
