Edmonton, AB - After two days at the Winter Regional, all three RDC Curling teams sit in a playoff spot for the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) championships in February but would like to have strong performances on Sunday.

The RDC Queens finished with an even 1-1 record on Saturday, dropping a 9-4 decision to the NAIT Ooks and then soundly defeating the Concordia University Thunder 10-2. The Red Deer College Kings were shaded 4-3 by Concordia University, then defeated MacEwan University 7-1 and fell 9-6 to NAIT. The RDC Mixed Curling team dropped a 7-1 result to Olds and 6-5 decision to NAIT.

On Sunday at 9:00 a.m., all three teams will be in action. Both the Kings and Queens will face the Lakeland College Rustlers while the mixed team will challenge the Portage College Voyageurs.

Using the combined records from the Fall and Winter Regionals, the top four teams from each grouping will qualify for the ACAC Curling Championships from February 22-24 in Olds.
