All three RDC Curling teams will play for ACAC medals

Day two at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Curling Championships wrapped up in Camrose on Saturday and all three RDC teams are in the hunt for a medal. 

The Kings dropped a 6-2 decision to Concordia University at 9:00 a.m. and then in the 1st vs. 2nd game, Concordia University won 4-2 over the Kings. At 6:00 p.m., the RDC Kings defeated the NAIT Ooks 6-1 in the semi-final which will set up another showdown between the RDC Kings and Concordia University for ACAC gold Sunday at 10:00 a.m. 

The RDC Queens defeated MacEwan University 7-2 at 9:00 a.m. Then in the 1st vs. 2nd matchup, the Queens won 5-4 over MacEwan University. The Red Deer College Queens will face MacEwan University for ACAC gold Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

The Red Deer College Mixed Curling team lost 8-2 to Portage College at 9:00 a.m. The mixed team was then edged 5-4 by the NAIT Ooks in the 3rd vs. 4th game and will play for bronze Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
