The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Curling Fall Regionals is in the books, and the RDC Kings finished the weekend in top spot. The Kings defeated Concordia University 7-5 in the morning to push their record to a perfect 5-0. The Queens were edged 6-5 by the defending ACAC Women's Curling champions, Concordia University, and they finished the weekend with an even 3-3 record. The RDC Mixed Curling team dropped an 8-2 decision to MacEwan University and went 2-3 over the three days.

Red Deer College Curling Head Coach Brad Hamilton saw good signs from the RDC student-athletes, especially with several curlers in new roles. "Overall, it was a good weekend considering that all three teams had curlers in different positions from last year. The Kings finished strong in a number of games to pull out wins," said Hamilton. "The Queens and RDC Mixed Curling team had some ups and downs but they are both in fourth spot heading into the Winter Regionals. We will be working on playing every end at a high level."
