Red Deer College Curling Head Coach Brad Hamilton thought it was a good opening day at the Fall Regional but the competition level will only increase.
"I think it was a normal first day. You saw some nerves out there and missed shots that you probably won't see as weekend goes on. Certainly some teams came out flying," said Hamilton. "There is some very good competition out there."
Day two begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and will feature several key matchups in the men's and mixed curling divisions. The women's teams start at 12:30 p.m. at the Pidherney Curling Centre.
