Athlete of the Week for Jan. 30, 2017
Marla led the RDC Women’s Curling team to a 3-2 record at the Winter Regional with some great shot making. Over the Fall the Winter Regionals, the RDC Women's Curling team finished with a combined 6-4 record which placed the team in a tie for 2nd. She had a great game to lead the team to an opening win over MacEwan University. Marla saved her best game for a win over 1st place Concordia that clinched a spot in the ACAC Championships for the women’s team. Marla has improved her game to the point where she can compete with any of the skips in the league.
