Shaye Leidenius – Golf
Hometown – Ponoka, AB
Kinesiology and Sport Studies (1st year)
At the ACAC Women’s North Regional Sept. 24 and 25 at Raven Crest Golf & Country Club, Shaye Leidenius shot an opening round of 81. On day two Leidenius followed that up by shooting a 77 for a two day total of 158. This placed Leidenius second individually out of the female golfers. Leidenius helped lead the RDC Women’s team to a third place overall finish.
Cole Morrison – Golf
Hometown – Red Deer, AB
Open Studies (2nd year)
Cole Morrison shot an opening round of 75 at the ACAC Men’s North Regional. On day two Morrison shot a 71 for a two day total of 146, only one shot behind the men’s leader. Morrison helped lead the RDC Men’s team to a second place finish overall out of the participating ACAC schools.
