Lethbridge, AB - The Red Deer College Queens' high-powered offence just couldn't be matched by the Lethbridge College Kodiaks. Five RDC student-athletes contributed seven or more kills and the Queens rolled to a four set victory over the Kodiaks (21-25, 25-18, 26-24 and 25-12).

Kylie Morrison led Lethbridge College with 8 kills and she was the only Kodiaks player with more than seven.

Sydney Rix, who was named the Queens Player-of-the Game, played well out of the middle. The second-year Bachelor of Education Elementary student totaled one ace, one dig, two stuff blocks and seven kills, contributing 10 points for the visitors. She also hit for 38.5 per cent efficiency.

Five-foot-ten outside hitter Emma Holmes ignited the RDC offence with 15 kills. Jade Van Dyke had nine. McKenna Olson and Tess Pearman contributed eight each.

Setter Emma Letkeman accumulated 44 assists and libero Kaylee Domoney added 10 digs.

Jamie Brown was recognized as the Kodiaks top performer. She picked up 19 assists and 10 digs.

Five different Queens contributed service aces in their eighth consecutive victory.

On Friday, November 29, the second place RDC Queens (8-2) will compete against the SAIT Trojans (2-9) at 6:00 p.m. at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.
