Clippers capture rematch over Queens in Caronport

Caronport, SK - Clippers setter Ashley Erickson found a favourite target Saturday afternoon against the visiting Queens. Erickson connected with Rebecca Garner for 17 kills, helping the home team defeat the RDC Queens in three sets (25-19, 25-21 and 25-18).
RDC middle Alexandria Greenshields led the offence with four kills. The Bachelor of Education Science student added two digs and was named the Queens Player-of-the-Game.
Ponoka's Tess Pearman recorded three kills, three aces and two digs for RDC.

As a team, the Queens had 10 aces. The Clippers finished with 13.
In addition to 26 assists, Ashley Erickson contributed 14 digs, two aces and one stuff, and was selected the Clippers Player-of-the-Game.
On Friday, October 25, the RDC Queens (0-2) will challenge the Ambrose University Lions (3-0) in Calgary at 6:00 p.m. Then 24 hours later, the Queens will face the Lions in their home opener.
