Lethbridge, AB - Perhaps motivated by Kodiaks right side hitter Carter Hansen's Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) recording breaking 1,168 kills, the Kodiaks clawed out a three set win over the visiting RDC Kings (25-21, 27-25 and 25-18).
RDC setter Thomas Wass (32 assists) effectively connected with outside hitter Ben Holmes for 11 kills.

Lacombe's Mark DeWit totaled eight kills and three stuff blocks. The all-star middle was named the Kings Player-of-the-Game. Patrik Toze accumulated seven kills.
