Rattlers take rematch over Kings

Medicine Hat, AB - On Saturday afternoon, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers jumped out to a two set lead over the RDC Kings, but the visitors were unable to complete the rally as the did Friday night. The Rattlers eventually took a four set home decision (25-21, 27-25, 21-25 and 25-20).

Setter Thomas Wass put up 33 assists, seven digs and two kills. The third-year Bachelor of Arts student was chosen the RDC Kings top performer.

Rattlers Player-of-the-Game Jovan Stepanovich was the biggest offensive weapon for his squad. The first-year outside hitter from Pozarevac, Serbia had 17 kills, three digs and a stuff block. 

Legal, Alberta's Carter Hills had another solid match. The first-year Bachelor of Education Science student racked up 13 kills, five aces, four stuffs and one dig, contributing 22 points. Mark DeWit knocked down seven kills. Patrik Toze added six.

The RDC Kings ripped nine service aces. Medicine Hat replied with eight.

The third place Red Deer College Kings (6-2) will play the second seed Lethbridge College Kodiaks (7-1) in two matches next weekend on the road. On Friday, November 22, the two teams will hit the court at 8:00 p.m.
