Lac La Biche, AB – It is safe to say the RDC Kings' power play was in sync against the Portage College Voyageurs Saturday afternoon. The Kings clicked three times with the extra skater and had three assists from Chase Thudium en route to a 5-2 victory.

Kings fourth-year forward Austin Hunter opened the scoring on the power play at 14:15 of the first period.

In the middle frame, there was a flurry of action with six markers. After Portage College evened the contest at 5:30, defenceman Tyler Podgorenko and Scott Ferguson beat goaltender Brad Dobson on the man advantage.

At 13:34 of the period, Troy Gerein pulled the Voyageurs within one, but the Kings weren't finished. Jantzen Leslie and Tyler Podgorenko struck within minutes, providing RDC a 5-2 edge.
