Boston Pizza RDP Athlete of the Week for September 29, 2025

Andrew Leffers, an Electrician apprenticeship student, has demonstrated continuous growth throughout the ACAC Cross Country Running season. In Grande Prairie, the first-year student-athlete from Spruce Grove (25:59) placed second among Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) male runners over 8 km at Running Room Grand Prix #3.

His exceptional result helped the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Cross Country Running team finish first as a group with 14 points. Concordia University of Edmonton followed in second with 51 team points.

Leffers and his teammates will compete at Running Room Grand Prix #4 in Camrose on Saturday, October 4.
