Letkeman and Queens enter break with tenth consecutive win

Brent Forster - RDC

Calgary, AB – Despite a four set victory on Friday, Queens Head Coach Talbot Walton felt his group had another gear. On Saturday against the same Trojans squad, it appears the RDC Queens found it. RDC jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back, sweeping SAIT 25-16, 25-14 and 25-18.

The Emma Letkeman-Emma Holmes connection was a factor once again in the Queens' victory. Setter Emma Letkeman (27 assists) successfully found outside hitter Emma Holmes for 12 kills. Letkeman also recorded three of the Queens' six service aces and was named the Queens Player-of-the-Game.

Emma Holmes (11) hit for 57.1% efficiency

Middle McKenna Olson had another strong game, contributing seven kills, two assists, two aces, two digs and one stuff block. Jade Van Dyke, a Bachelor of Science Nursing student, finished with five kills.
