Coules and Queens take rematch over Vikings

Brent Forster - RDC

Camrose, AB - A week ago, the RDC Queens Soccer team felt it deserved a better fate against the University of Alberta Augustana Vikings in a 3-2 setback. On Saturday afternoon the Queens turned the tables, blanking the Vikings 3-0.

Alisha Coules continued her torrid goal scoring pace, striking for all three of RDC's goals in the 13th, 20th and 71st minute. The Vikings couldn't find the back of the net.

Coules has nine goals in six games played, which places the Bachelor of Science Nursing student in a tie for second spot in league scoring with Aimee  Tiemstra from The King's University Eagles. NAIT's Marissa Webb leads Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Soccer with 12.

The Red Deer College Queens (3-4-0) will face the Ambrose University Lions (0-6-0) on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. at RDC Main Field.
