Queens Basketball Head Coach Ken King would like to see a better start in the rematch on Saturday.

"We started really slowly tonight and got down early in the game by 13 points," said King. "We need to show up better than that."

For the Queens, Dedra Janvier finished with 25 points, 1 steal, 1 assist, 3 rebounds and connected on 7-of-12 shots from beyond the 3-point arc. Emily White contributed 18 points, 6 blocks, 3 steals, 7 assists and a remarkable 24 rebounds for RDC.

"Dedra (Janvier) and Emily (White) were unreal tonight," said King.

Kiana Mintz picked up 16 points, 1 block, 4 steals and 3 rebounds for the Queens. Brianna Scott led the Olds College Broncos with 50 points.

As a team, the RDC Queens shot 73.3% from the free throw line, accumulated 43 rebounds and scored 28 points in the paint.

Only 3 games remain in the Queens' regular season and they sit in 5th place in the ACAC Women's Basketball South Division with 14 points. The RDC Queens only trail the 4th place Medicine Hat College Rattlers by 2 points.

Saturday at RDC, the Queens host the Broncos in a rematch at 6:00 p.m.
