Athlete of the Week for Oct. 24, 2016

Michael Sumner continued his strong play this weekend and in fact, took his defensive game to another level in a weekend sweep (3-0, 3-0) of the Lethbridge Kodiaks on the road. On Friday Michael was named player-of-the-match with 10 digs and passed the ball with accuracy. He continued his strong defensive play with 8 digs on Saturday and passed quite well on limited volume. Michael averaged 3 digs per game on the weekend. He is a big reason that the RDC Kings Volleyball team has started the season 4-0 against two quality opponents.
