RDC Athlete of the Week for Sept. 10, 2018
Theoren Gill was a force in the Red Deer College Kings’ 6 - 0 victory over the Ambrose University Lions this past weekend. The third-year midfielder’s leadership skills were evident, positively reinforcing Head Coach Wade Groenewegen’s game plan to his teammates. Gill, a Bachelor of Education Elementary student, contributed two goals in the win and was praised after the game by Groenewegen for his effort and timely goals. The skilled student-athlete from Red Deer will be a key component of the Kings Soccer team this season, on and off the pitch.
