Rattlers shade Kings in Medicine Hat

Medicine Hat, AB - It was a game of momentum swings. The Kings controlled the first half and the Rattlers came on in the latter stages, eventually edging RDC 84-82.

The Kings exploded for 31 points in the first quarter and led 48-37 at the break. 

The Rattlers outscored the Kings 47-34 in the latter half and shaded the visitors by a bucket.

Tyronn King was selected as the Kings' top player. The six-foot-one guard scored 13 points and added three rebounds and two assists.

Spencer Klassen led his group with 19 points. Anthony Harper had 15.

Kieron Burgess picked up the award for the Rattlers, leading both sides with 31 points.

The Kings connected on 26 out of 68 (38.2%) from the field. The Rattlers went 32-for-69 (46.4%).

On Saturday, the RDC Kings (5-4) will compete against the Briercrest College Clippers in Caronport at 8:00 p.m.
