Bio

Brad Hamilton has been the Head Coach for the Red Deer College Curling Team since 2010. Before taking on this role, he was an assistant coach during 2009-2010 season. In recent years, the Curling Team has had success at both the provincial and national levels. The women’s team won ACAC bronze and CCAA gold in 2014, and the men won ACAC gold and CCAA silver in 2012, as well as ACAC gold in 2011.

Hamilton began coaching curling in 2006 and coached a boys’ team to a Bronze medal at the 2008 Alberta Winter Games and a Juvenile Men’s team to a silver medal at the 2009 Alberta Provincials. Coaching at RDC provides a unique and positive experience for Hamilton, with three different teams (men’s, women’s and mixed) that support and cheer each other on.
